At the same time, I was researching ways to save money after giving up my full-time job.  I found a lot of great tips and suggestions for parents to save money, earn extra money, and live on one income.  However, I didn't find them all the same place.  I wanted to create a website like the one I had looked for.  So, I set out to build a website with my tips and ideas."  

Kimberly taught herself how to design web pages and began doing research for content. When Mommysavers.com was launched in March 2000 it was a simple site with about 20 pages.  It now receives over three million page views per month and is one of the leading Google pages for money saving tips and stay at home moms. The readership of thrifty moms drives the site; providing great tips, advice and ideas. 

About Author and Frugal Spokesperson Kimberly Danger:  Mommysavers' creator Kimberly Danger holds a degree in Business Administration/Marketing from Minnesota State University, Mankato.  She has been helping moms save time and money through her website, Mommysavers.com, since March 2000.  Her first book, 1000 Best Baby Bargains, was released in May 2005.  Kim lives with her husband and two kids in Southern Minnesota.  In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, photography, and cooking.

New in 2010

Kimberly's new book, Instant Bargains: 600+ Ways to Shrink Your Grocery Bills and Eat Well for Less, is available now on Amazon.com.  The book includes hundreds of tips inspired by the Mommysavers forums and hints that have appeared on the website over the course of the past ten years.  In March, The Complete Book of Baby Bargains is due for release.

Kimberly's first book, 1000 Best Baby Bargains, was released in May 2005. 

Mommysavers in the Media  Kim Danger of Mommysavers has been featured in the news and morning programs in Philadelphia, Tampa, Miami, Orlando, Detroit, Boston, Cleveland, San Diego, Sacramento, Baltimore, Miami, Seattle, St. Louis, Atlanta, Chicago, Nashville, Phoenix, Dallas and in her home state of Minnesota.  She has appeared nationally on The Daily Buzz.  She has shared segments on baby bargains, organization, savvy shopping strategies and saving money during the holidays. 

She works with Coupons.com as their Family Savings Expert and Uniroyal Tire as spokesperson for their More Mileage for Your Money campaign.  She has also worked in campaigns for Tide, Sprint, and Shell.  She has experience with RMTs, SMTs, ANRs, Co-op Media Tours, Matte Releases and Web Videos.
