I will be posting pictures with the meals throughout the week so keep checking back to see that the finished product looks like!

Grocery Shopping:

Walmart: $20.42 - I deducted the prescription, Advil, dog leash, and dog shampoo from my balance as they belong in a different category in my budget.  You can see that I used another gift card from Swagbucks.  I love them!  I have earned almost 80 swagbucks just this morning, read this article on how it works!

Budget Update:

Groceries: $20.42 YTD $58.34

Principal Debt: $274.79 YTD $1049.16

Entertainment: $10.94 (I just needed that Itunes album rolleyes.gif) YTD $161.57 I am overbudget by $111.57 already this month!

Animal Food: $10.39 YTD $10.39

Savings:  $1000.00 This went down $900. Dh needed a new chainsaw for wood cutting.  I rather shell out the $500 for a chainsaw every 5 yrs then $750 a month for a propane bill!  Then $400 went to house repairs.

My grocery budget is right on track, I just need to get the entertainment budget in check!  I like to have fun, I just need to find cheaper fun :)  Speaking of fun here is picture of my oldest daughter and I from my MIL's 71st birthday party this weekend!

Again if you have any questions feel free to ask. I see that many of you have signed up for Swagbucks, but aren't earning yet!  I would love to help you maximize your earning potential! Check back later this week when I introduce you to my ladies!

That's a great pic of you and your daughter!
Love your posts! I like how your not afraid to admit your over budget on some things, it happens! LOL My biggest problem is what to make in school nights twice a week. I do feel it's worth it to just get a 10 dollar pizza before school to make things easier on myself! Dad usually does easy hot dog night once a week also. Kid love it :)
anxious to hear on how you earn so many swagbucks!
With Swagbucks, I always run Swag TV in the background and it just takes a quick click to switch videos. For every 10 you get 3 bucks. Not much but it adds up. I also always look on the homepage there is quick easy ways to earn some there that are free and if you refresh they are usually there again. I will not spend money to get bucks unless it's for Shop & Earn. Just searching, I usually win 3-4 searches a day and SwagCodes! I can also watch SwagTV on my phone so while I'm waiting I'm always clicking videos or when my husband's watching one of his lovely Swamp shows on TV I'm swaggin!
Very pretty picture Jen! Thanks for all the info. I have to say we are so far within budget on groceries for this month. We had our second weekend eating at home so that's helped. I need to get creative with meal planning the last week of January to use up what we have and not dip into February's budget for groceries.
I've been in Swagbucks almost every day for this past week. I did not know about the swag TV part! Will have to try it out. I"m hoping I can start banking on that pretty soon! :)
Thanks again for all the info! I"m loving these articles!!
