Great for kids but not very flavorful.
We tried this Cinnamon Toast Crunch muffin mix this morning. It's been a long time since I made muffins from a mix. Making them from scratch is easy, but I was surprised at how much easier it is to make a mix. The best thing about this muffin mix is that my kids were SO excited about it. They talked about it all last night, and helped me make the muffins this morning. Then they ate 2 each, which is a huge breakfast for them.
I used muffin tin liners, which I recommend, because the baked muffins stuck pretty badly to the liners. The muffins were soft with crunchy bits of cinnamon. They weren't as flavorful as I would have liked - my husband agrees. We both thought they were just ok. But the kids loved them and it made them excited about eating breakfast for once.
