Cons: Buckles are difficult
I chose this high-back booster for my 4 year old because I wanted to keep her in the 5-point harness as long as possible. This Cosco booster seat was the least expensive option, so I went with that. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for.
My main complaint about the seat is that the chest buckle feels like it made from cheap plastic and is really difficult to undo. Both buckles are difficult to undo with just one hand.
I also found it slightly more difficult to latch and unlatch the seat (installing it) than our other carseat (Britax).
There is less padding in the seat than other brands, and the headrest doesn't extend around the head for the child to lean on.
All these small complaints aside, I don't think I'd prefer a seat with easier buckles that cost twice as much. You get what you pay for, and I think the low price of this booster seat is worth it.
