Annoying to unwrap.
Pros: cleans very well
Cons: have to unwrap, expensive
I got a great deal on Finish Powerball tablets on Amazon, so I gave them a try. I usually use powdered dishwasher detergent. The Finish Powerball tablets worked great. However, I was annoyed that I had to unwrap each one before putting it in the dishwasher, especially since I usually had wet hands from doing the dishes. It was one more step to adding dishwasher detergent to the dishwasher, when the point of the tablets (I thought) was to make it easier.
Also, even with a great sale and/or coupon, the individual tablets are still much more expensive than using powdered detergent, so I'm going to go back to that.
Some brands do sell individual packets of dishwasher detergent that do not have to be unwrapped, but I don't really think the price is worth the convenience.
