My New Favorite Show

I got Homeland for my husband for Christmas as a gift.  Since he's interested in military thrillers, I knew he'd like it.  Because of its critical acclaim, I figured I'd like it too. It's our new favorite show.  

The first episode will have you hooked.  The story centers around POW Nicholas Brody, a marine held hostage for eight years in the war against Afghanistan.  IN the first episode, we see his rescue and return home. CIA operative Carrie Mathison is convinced Brody has "flipped" and is now back in America working with the terrorists.  

Each episode of Homeland unravels the mystery of what actually happened to Brody in Afghanistan and the complex nature of sleeper cells and domestic terrorism.   The cast of characters is complex and interesting, and each episode leaves you wanting more.
