I got a $1.25 coupon for the new Jell-o with Mix-ins from Kraft First Taste. These were $1.79 at my store, so for $.54 cents, we gave them a try. First of all, there are only TWO Jell-o pudding cups in each package. Who would pay $.90 for one pudding cup??
We really like chocolate pudding, and when I don't make it homemade, I usually buy the Hunt's snack packs, $1.00/4. The Jell-o pudding itself is not as good as the Hunt's. Maybe it's because it is a refrigerated product and not shelf-stable, but it seemed almost runny.
The mix-ins were really fun for my kids. There was an extremely generous amount of sprinkles. Personally, I would not have liked this flavor (I just tried the pudding part) because the flower sprinkles are so big and crunchy. But my kids thought this was an awesome treat.
Unless I get another $1.25 coupon, I will not be buying this product again. I can't believe the outrageous price for a mediocre product.
