Pros: Good solid book to read. Christian influence.

Cons: A little slow to start, but once you get into it, you fly through it.

Totally enjoyed this book.  It gives a fuller perspective on Dinah, from the book of Genesis in the Bible.  The book gives a better view of life's struggles, strengths and triumphs of ancient womanhood.  The book is told by Dinah herself, daughter of Jacob.  The story begins with Dinah being a child and growing up with Jacob's four wives and his dozen sons.  Being the only daughter, Dinah is given gifts that will benefit her through her youth and as a woman.  The book gives you a connection to an early period of time.

Interesting twist for bible study

Pros: Stays with you; female oriented

Cons: Hard to apply to modern times

I read this book years ago. It was interesting but I'm not looking to read it again. The characters are flat. It helps if you already have a lot of old testament bible education. That would enrich the reading.
