Can you freeze Halloween chocolate bars for next year?

Ok, I'm being cheap. But Target had all their Halloween candy 75% off which included some nice wrapped solid chocolate bars. I didn't this year, but can I buy some next year, pop them in the freezer, then take them out a year later and not have the quality diminish??!!

Has someone else done this with success?! Thanks!

I've frozen Hershey kisses before and they seemed to be fine when I opened them.

I wouldn't bother.

First of all, the freezer is the most expensive way to store food. I hate freezing foods that aren't worth freezing.

Secondly, chocolate tends to 'bloom'. That's when the white chocolate oil moves to the surface. This happens especially after chocolate has been refrigerated or frozen.

If you already got some it is good to put in cookies or melt and dip things in like pretzels.
