Non Locking Seat Belts and Car Seats

So, in one car one of the back seat belts doesn't lock up (like when you pull it all the way out it is supposed to lock up and not allow you to pull it back out again). This hasn't been an issue since DD could just sit on the other side. Anyone know if there are things to use with a car seat when this is an issue?

My mom's car is a Sebring Convertable and neither of the back seat belts lock but it has the teather in the trunk (but no latches in the seat).

A metal clip that comes with carseats is what you need to use.

What kind of car-seat are you using?

I know that the carseat bases I have for our infant carseats (we have two), have a little clip dohicky for that reason. It's attached to the bases.

I use it when I put DD's carseat base and everything on our Gator.

do you have an anchor bolt strap on the car seat?

Use the seat belt locking clip that comes with the car seat. The instruction manual will tell you how to use it properly.

I can't find the seat belt clip or the instruction manual for my infant car seat. I guess I will get on graco.com and order them. I will be using both a Graco Infant Car Seat and a Britax Roundabout.

You can get a metal locking clip at Babies R'Us. We have two extras that we bought there. They were about two dollars each.

Make sure to check all around and under the carseat base. It took me FOREVER to find mine. I though that it was lost LOL

Linky to show where it might be:
