How did you find Mommysavers? Have you referred anyone here? Were you referred here? I signed up for the Mommysavers newsletter years ago when I was searching for ways to be more frugal. I received the newsletter for a long time before hitting the discussion board. I have been around for several of the board changes, so I have been here for quite a while. I have never referred anyone here I like it to be mine! And no I was not referred here either.
What does your user name mean? My user name is my nickname given to me from a family of 4 boys I used to babysit in my early teen years.
Out of all the things the members here have offered in terms of advice, support, counsel and criticism, what have you personally benefited from? And do you remember specifically who the member was that offered that advice? There has been so much that I have gotten from this board. I can't think of any one specific thing. There is so much. There are so many great members to this board, I have received great support from Christy, Shell, Kim and Susie to name a just a few.
How many coupons do you use on a regular basis? Not too many ( I am not a good coupon person although I have good intentions, I need to learn better.)
What was your most recent "bargain"? I bought a new pair for pajama pants last week for $5.00
What have you done to save money this week? Stayed out of the stores!
What do you consider a way of life that others think is a crazy way to save?
What is your favorite store in which to find bargains? Aeropostale for my girls, this is their favorite store to shop for cloths and I am able to find great deals there. I have never paid full price for anything in this store for them. It is usually more than 50% off.
What is the best deal you ever found (even if it wasn’t at your favorite store)? buying shirts for the girls for less than 2 bucks.
What is your best money saving tip? Really to stay away from the stores.
What is your favorite frugal meal? I would say it has to be dried beef gravy over toast.
Do you enter contests? If so, what is the best prize you’ve ever won? I have tried to enter contests but I never seem to win anything. :0(
If money were no object, what 3 things would you buy yourself or your family? A new car, a bigger house, and a vacation to someplace warm!
If you had $10 to spend on yourself (you and you alone) what would you buy? A venti white chocolate Mocha from Starbucks and Pink stripe cookies from a local baker /or a Karen Kingsbury Book
