Hi! I have to broil some fish. Usually I just grill everything but it's freezing outside! Problem..I don't have a broiling pan! Can I use another baking pan...if so..which one?

I sometimes use a metal cooling rack -the kind that you put cookies on to cool- over a cookie sheet. But do this if you have a cookie sheet with a lip, the totally flat kind makes a huge mess in your oven. If you line the cookie sheet with aluminum foil it makes clean up easier.

i use the roaster pan for my turkey ( no lid) and put a cooling rack for cookies inside it and put the fish on it...works in a pinch for me.

I broil things like fish and garlic bread on my pampered chef stones. I use my toaster oven/broiler and my regular oven.
I don't Do it that often , but never have had any problems.

Thanx for the tips! I do have plenty of pampered chef stones! I just wasn't sure if a certain pan was too deep to broil in...or if the food HAS to be sitting off the actual surface of the pan. I do have a cooling rack...it's a pampered chef one that has a non-stick coating on it. Are those kind ok to go in the oven?
