This isn't labor starting, right?

My due date was yesterday. Since this morning at 6, I have had braxton hicks constantly. It even feels like menstural cramps as it aches in my lower back and lower abdomen. It didn't stop with laying down or shower. I ended up eating a bannana and taking a tylenol, going to work and it has helped, but it is starting again. Working on getting water down, but any idea if this is just braxton hicks still since it is constant - no set contractions, just feels like menstural cramping.

I felt like this a day or two before my labor. Make sure you monitor them just in case. You're on your way though!! CONGRATS!

I would call the doctor.

Maybe! Definitely keep an eye on them. My experience has been the more painful things get, the closer I am to having the baby. That's how it was last time, and is proving to be the case this time, now that I'm having BH for sure.

How exciting! Just think, this could all be over today or tomorrow for you! Yay!

well it should be any day now, so keep an eye on it and CONGRATS, rest up while you can

If your due date was yesterday, this could be it! Everyone is diffrent and each pregnancy is diffrent. Just becuase it doesn't feel like it did last time, doesn't mean you might not be in labor. Call the dr and see if they want you to come in!

Thanks! I can only hope that comes true!

I thought Braxton Hicks will stop if you lay down and rest. It sounds to me like you are in labor. Contractions feel different for everyone. Mine never started in the back and came around, but that's what it was like for my sister. Call the doctor. Good luck!

I did this with my third child...even called my dh to come home from work (he was 20 minutes away) and then decided it was just braxton hicks. Thankfully when I called to say never mind, he had already left to come...because by the time he got there, contractions were every TWO to THREE minutes...and I was 7.5 cm. when we got to the hospital! I actually asked the nurse why it HURT so much..and she looked at me like I was stupid! LOL She said, "This is transistion, honey, the hardest part". I was shocked...even though it was my third, I had no idea cramps could be the first 6 or so cm!!!

BTW....crib sheets ARE mailed!!
