I've never read that but I think DD has it. Is it worth reading despite being disturbing? Which one did you like better?

Sarah's Key is the other one my mom just read. She said she couldn't put that one down. She must be on a Holocaust kick. There are a lot of good books on that topic, though.

A holocaust book I love is "Number the Stars". It's considered a children's book and I think my DD read it 5th or 6th grade (I could be wrong). I read it before I let her read it and loved it myself!!

The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom is another good one. It's been awhile since I've read it, but I liked that one too.

Yes, I liked it. It's been awhile since I read Boy in the Striped Pajamas, but I think I liked Sarah's Key better. It's more involved with different story lines and takes a bit longer to read.
