I was just setting here trying to think of ways to make or save money when I started thinking about learning how to can vegatables. I know many people who would love to have home grown items canned for the winter or to learn how to can these items themselves. I guess what I am saying is one could hold a class or workshop on canning or even offer to do the canning for a price.

Selling vintage or handmade items on Etsy and selling items that you don't need anymore on Ebay or Craigslist.. If you have the patience to market and sell each item individually and are willing to repost if necessary, you can make much more this way than selling your things through a garage sale.
Occasional babysitting is also an option for stay-at-home moms. I'm currently looking for babysitters in my area (and don't want to have to pay on any sites to find them) but people aren't posting much in this way on Craigslist at the moment, and I wish they were!
I do ebay I completly agree but you got to research what you sell. If you list something for a redicoulus price then you just waisted a listing. I started with Mcdonald's toys my kids had laying around. I get them together in groups disney and pixar do really well it's good to have all the charector's then research what other ebayer's are selling them for. Ebay is fantastic to give you 50 free listings a month which I utilize so I don't pay to rent a spot so to speak.
Home made items for renaissance go really well during spring, summer and fall because the seasons for weddings and the fairs people will shop for dress's, shirts, pocket books, bags, hair accessories and more online. Also it can be tagged for LARP. Again research the prices try to undercut someone else's selling price and free shipping helps but I usually do a flat rate. Depends on personal preferance.
Hope this helps someone.
