Getting rid of disney vhs tapes?

hi

We have alot of disney vhs tapes and most if not all of them are not watched.

I know vhs is not worth anything to sell but I could donate them.

But a part of me is thinking the boys might want to watch them one da y or we will wish we had them. But at the same time i can always borrow them from the librayr if i truly needed to watch it right?

We recently donated all our kids VHS tapes to a local homeless shelter. We haven't had a VCR in 4 or 5 years, not sure why I was keeping tapes we couldn't watch.

I got rid of all our kids movies on VHS...we just aren't a family of 'rewatchers'. My kids see a movie once and then that's pretty much it! LOL! Despite that fact, we got a ton over the years from family as gifts. I gave a lot of the movies to my sister, she didn't have a lot of the older movies and the other ones I donated to our church nursery.

When I was younger I worked at Blockbuster knew someday I would have kids and knew about how Disney pulls their movies for 7 years...at least they used to anyway I feel your pain I have a decent sized box of VHS tapes sitting in my basement that I just can't seem to part with!

maybe you could give them to the library, your peds office, or even a local church. We also have been sorting through ours, we have way way too many, and the thing is, there is always something on TV as well, so she doesn't need all the videos around

I would take them for my sons daycare! They are always asking parents to bring in movies for the kids to watch.

Bulk lots do sell on ebay, I have been putting most of mine at consignment shops. I get a couple bucks a piece. I am slowly replacing mine with DVD's, since my kids do watch the Disney videos.
