On average, how much do you spend on your kids' Easter baskets?

Do you have a dollar limit on how much you spend on items for your kids' Easter baskets?

I don't have a set dollar limit, but it usually comes in under $10. I don't buy much for her because she doesn't need anything else to junk up her bedroom. I usually just pick up some of her favorite candy.

For the first time we are putting a dollar amount on his basket. Last year we spent way too much so this year it is 20.00.

I bought swim suit / trunks for both kids so that ran each of them up a bit. Probably about $20.00 for each of them. I haven't really kept track.

I never did a limit. I put nice stuff in there, not junk or candy. Like books, puzzles, barbie/cars, etc. In the past probably around $30 each just guessing though. This year I'll keep it under $15 each.

Maybe $20 for my DD we do a little bit of trade off in that I get things for my neices basket and my sister for my daughters.

About $20 per child. In our house we consider Easter to be as important as Christmas. We split the amount we spend per child per year between Christmas and Easter and they get presents for each of those holidays. That's just how we do it.

I don't have a limit for my own kids...just depends on what I find for them, what they're liking that year etc I do make baskets for my neices and nephew and I usually spend about $10 each on them.

I don't buy junk, and I get them nice things. I do that every holiday though....no point in buying something that will be in the trash the next day IMO!
