Where do you park at the airport?

Where do you find the most cost effective place to park at the airport?

When I just run in and pick someone up I usually just go to the parking meters out front. I just feel safer as the parking garage kind of frightens me, especially when I'm alone.

For extended stays, I usually park in the garage as well, especially in the winter time. I know during the winter months we've had snow storms in our area from time to time that made it a complete nightmare to get your car out.

Other times, depending on when we're flying out, we'll stay a local hotel and a lot of them will keep your car and then you can just park your car there for free. We often go that route.

We dont - we will circle the airport when picking someone up until they meet us outside. When flying out, we will get a family member or friend to drive and pick us up - paying for a tank of gas as a thank you is way cheaper than $20 a day parking!

Just to drop off - I pull up in front and drop them without parking.

To pick up, I tell them to meet me out front so I don't have to park.

If I'm flying, I ask someone to drop me and pick me up - I'd rather buy them a bit of gas than pay airport parking rates. Plus I feel that my car will be safer leaving it at a friend/family member's house than at the airport.

we also have someone drop us off or pick us up.

now when we have flown with my sister somewhere out of the twin cities they have a long term parking that a bus will pick you up and drop you at the airport and it was only $25 bucks for the three days we were gone.
