Got your Easter Dinner plans made?

What are you having for your dinner?

Having people over?Or going some where?

Do you do an appatizer before the meal?

Desserts after the meals? If so traditional ones or something new every year?

We usually go to my SIL's for Easter, I am not exactly sure what we are having besides ham and mashed potatoes. I am sure I will find out sometime this week.

We're going to my in-laws. I sure hope we're having ham and potato casserole I am hoping to get a ham, I didn't get one at Christmas. I love having ham leftovers in the freezer to add to stuff.

It will be a relaxed Easter, just the six of us. We are staying home and not having company. I will make up a big meal and munchies for us.

Appetizers:
cheese, summer sausage, and crackers
veggies and dip
wienies in bbq sauce
deviled eggs--of course

Dinner:
Spiral cut ham
mashed potatoes and gravy
M2M's sweet potato casserole
green bean casserole
watergate salad

Desserts/sweets
Strawberry cheesecake
rice krispie treats

Tons of food for just us. But that also means lots of leftovers. I will bake up some banana bread and we will have that for breakfast. The appetizers I will have ready around lunch time than we will eat dinner around 6. The kids will be getting some movies in their Easter baskets so we will watch those and probably break out some board games.

MIL indirectly invited herself over.. lol. I was hoping she would volunteer to cook.

Anyway, I'm having ham, potatoes, baked corn, salad, rolls and a bunny cake for dessert.

We're doing lunch at my MIL's and then dinner at my sister's house. There will be about 15 people at my MIL's and 10 at my sister's house.

I contribute to both meals. My MIL usually makes the ham and leg of lamb and then the rest of the family brings things. I'm bringing a spinach salad with strawberries, mushrooms and homemade dressing. Then we'll have two fresh veggies, oven roasted potatoes, croissants and rolls etc We'll do rice krispie treats, mini cheesecakes and macaroons for dessert.

At my sister's house, I'll bring more...I'm taking the salad again, baked pineapple and lemon angel food cake.

We really don't do appetizers in our families for any meal.

I'm doing dinner, and I haven't even started planning! Eeeek!!!

I do have to get the ginormous ham out of the freezer though. I think is going to be us, my folks, the IL's and my older brother.
