Nitrate-free bacon?

Could someone please tell if there is an easy to find nitrate-free bacon? I don't have a Trader Joes anywhere near me. Here are the only stores close enough for me to bother with: Meijer, Walmart, Kroger and Aldi. I doubt Aldi has nitrate-free bacon.
Meijer's is my store of choice.

I've seen it at Sprawl-Mart here.

Oh my, I was about to ask you what Sprawl-Mart was. Hee hee. I am assuming you mean Walmart. Do you remember what brand it was? Maybe Meijer's has it too. If not, I can make a trip to Walmart and stock up.

WalMart does carry at least one brand of nitrate free bacon, I don't recall the name though, I just remember looking for nitrate free bacon once when we had houseguests that I knew liked it. I ended up getting mine at Trader Joes though.

Thanks ladies. I will make a trip there sometime this week. I think when I was searching on line for nitrate free bacon, I found someone who said they found Oscar Mayer uncured bacon at Walmart and it didn't have any nitrates. But the site was old, and I didn't know Oscar Mayer sold uncured bacon. Since it was an old site, I didn't know if that info was up to date.
For anyone interested in this tidbit of info, if you overcook the bacon with nitrates in it, it is even worse for you.

Just an idea: I use Morningstar Farms "Bacon" and it's delish. My family actually likes it better than real bacon now.

I think it was Hormel Natural - it's a brown package with red print.

I bet it is. Hormel makes nitrate free lunch meat. The only kind I buy now.
