Don't want anything hot because it is hot out and DH won't do potato salad or pasta salad - what else could I serve - BLTs sound so good since we have perfect tomatoes out of the yard.

I would just do some chips since you vetoed potato and pasta salads and those were my first choices!

What about Cole slaw, deviled eggs or a fruit salad.

cottage cheese and fruit

I guess it would go against the nothing hot part of your post but one of my favorite summer dinners is BLT's with lettuce and tomatoes from my garden served with corn on the cob cooked in the husks on the grill.

A veggie salad or pork and beans *i eat them cold, apparently that's weird, so if ya don't, ignore that*

Thanks so much for all the ideas - wanted to do something cold but DH decided he wanted french fries - so much for healthy and cold. Love the other ideas though and will keep those in mind for other sides this week.

I thought I was the only person who liked cold pork and beans! (I also like cold mac and cheese, cold fried chicken, and cold pizza).

Whenever we have BLTs we usually either have a garden salad or caesar salad on the side.

Thanks for the idea! BLT's sound so good! I need easy dinner ideas this week too.
I usually serve corn on the cob or cut up veggies and dip with blts. YUM!
