Does anyone know of any discount codes for a single night stay at Great Wolf Lodge? Thanks in advance

No, not right now, but we got a discount through my hubby's work. You might also check the great deals on the GWL web site. They usually have some things running, if you can find the rate on the days you want to go. Good luck.

I don't know any good codes for Great Wolf Lodge but I did see in today's paper that Southwest is offering a fantastic deal for Disney World. It is buy one, get one free for the flight, hotel room and park tickets at long as you travel mid-week. It is on their vacation package website. I wish we could go but we are going to visit Grandma and Grandpa this year.

We just went to GWL this week and had a blast! I think it depends on which one you are going to, but do a google search for GWL promo codes. I am a nurse and my husband is military, and we got to use the HEROES promo code. It is for nurses, military, police, fireman, etc. I also found one for homeschoolers, it is HOME. They both brought the price down to around $179 for one night. Some of the others I have heard of are PEPSI, although I think for that you are supposed to be a Pepsi employeee and may have to show some sort of ID. With home schoolers, what proof could you possibly have to show? Besides, I think all mothers "homeschool" their kids in one way or another! ;-) Have fun, it is a great place!

What ages do you think are best to enjoy Great Wolf Lodge? Or do they have stuff for all age groups?

We went in February with our 6 year old and 2 year old. We were not all that impressed. Although the boys had fun, half of the staff would not let us "lap ride" the two year old on the slides, the other half would, making it hard on a spirited two year old, getting to the top and being told no after one said yes. I would not go again unless the boys were big enough to do more on their own... I'd say at least 8 or 9, but any age will have fun, it's water and slides, can't go bad with that.

Gosh, we went last year with a 3 and 5 year old and had a blast. They loved the kiddie pool, the whole family could ride one of the water slides and my older boy could ride all but two rides. We did the double tudes with life jackets and had a ball. We are going again in two weeks.

We went with my kids, ages 12, 9, 3 and 9 months. My brother brought his kids, ages 17, 12, and 10 and we all had a great time. They did not allow anyone to "lap ride", however my 3 year old was allowed to go down all but one slide! I was shocked he was able to ride so much because there are some big slides! He was able to ride down with my husband in a tube. They also have a wave pool, a lazy river, and an entire section of smaller slides and kiddie activities. We also got a promo deal for breakfast. After you make reservations, try calling back to the 1-800 number and ask about adding on the breakfast deal for an extra $30. It is an all you can eat breakfast buffet, with made-to-order omelets. I thought it was worth it. They also have a mini-fridge and microwave in the rooms if you want to take your own food.
Have fun!

The one in Wisconsin Dells would be perfect for preschoolers/early elementary age.  Now that our kids are older, the Kalahari water park had more to offer them.
