individualized tracer pages!

omg, i found the neatest thing! dd's been showing an interest in the alphabet, and i thought of getting her one of those handwriting tablets for preschoolers. then i decided to look online, and found some printable tracer pages. you just type in the word(s) or letters you want and it generates a page. there's even cursive tracer pages.

You may need to experiment with a page to see how it comes out. for a long word, it moved a letter to the next row and it looks a little weird. but overall, sweet!

Here's another one that I use a lot with my kids.

THANKS!!! These are both awesome websites. DS's handwriting could use some extra work. The other day at Walmart I found some tracing papers that are grooved to help keep the pencil where it should be. I think they will be great. Then we can use the pages printed from these websites to do even more practice.

THANKS again for sharing.

If you google tracing fonts (like Penmanship Print font) you can download tracing fonts to your computer and make pages yourself. Add some blank lines after the word and they can practice even more.
