Easy Artichoke Hearts and Chicken Breast

This is a recipe I created when I found an inexpensive jar of Artichoke hearts at the dollar store.

Thaw about 2-3 boneless chicken breast. Then season with some garlic powder and any other seasoning you like. I used garlic powder, a touch of lemon pepper and a tiny pinch of oregano. Put seasoned chicken in a cooking pan. Drain the jar of artichoke hearts and place them on or around the chicken. Then cover it with most of a bottle of Kraft Free Italian dressing.
Then bake at 400F for about 20 minutes.

This turned out amazing! You could easily serve with the veggie of your choice or an herbed rice mix.

My DH was impressed and he is not a fan of anything fancy.

It is so easy and I made it for under $5! I got the jar of Artichike hearts for $1.35. The chicken breast came from a bag of frozen chicken that I got on sale. The dressing was only 8 cents with a coupons. It was a yummy treat. I served it up with some potatoes I bought at the farmer's market.
