Don't buy the individual portions of peaches or mixed fruit. Buy a can of fruit cocktail, peaches, or pears. Rinse off with water if you want to get rid of the sugary syrup. Cut up the peaches into smaller bite size pieces. Send in small plastic reusuable containers.

Besides cold pizza, cold fried chicken is good too. My kids will also eat cold homemade chicken nuggets.

Keep food extra warm in thermos-put boiling water in thermos for about five minutes before you add the hot food.

Make your own bagel chips from day olds! My son LOVES dipping these in my homemade hummus!!!!!!!

Thinly slice bagels, grease a cookie sheet (cooking spray or oil), place "chips" on cookie sheet in a preheated oven to 350 for about 15-20 min (I flip 1/2 way through).

Note>> to flavour your chips just mix whatever seanonings you like with some oil and brush chips before baking.

Think of investing in a food dehydrator...I make all my dried fruits and make my own fruit leathers. My little one really enjoys making the leathers with me>> he loves choosing the fruit combos.

Send frozen grapes. Take them from the freezer that morning and put them in their lunch. They will be just thawed enough to eat for lunch. You don't want them to thaw all the way because they get soggy.
