Instead of buying the fancy brownie mixes with all of the "stuff" in it, costing twice as much....buy the cheap brownie mix when it's on sale, then when the brownies are in the pan, use a spoon and put 3 or 4 "dollops" of peanut butter on the brownies, swirl with a fork and bake like normal! This is a family fav!

Make silver dollar sized pancakes or chocolate chip pancakes. Send them in a thermos. Send along some syrup in a small reusuable container.

Make a sandwich with leftover pancakes. You can just add peanut butter and jelly, or cream cheese and sliced strawberries.

Pig in a blanket. Wrap a cooked sausage link in a pancake. Send along a small container of syrup or yogurt for them to dip it in.

Homemade cheese bread (stick or bun) made with whatever meat your child likes best (ham, salami, pepperoni, sausage, bacon...).
I generally make my bread sticks from scratch but I have also made them with pillsbury dough. I just sprinkle the cheese and finely chopped meat on the dough before I roll it into stick shape and bake.

Cold rice salad~ cooked cold rice (flavoured however your childs likes), finely chopped veggies, diced meat (bacon, ham, chicken, sausage...), shredded cheese and a touch of dressing (either creamy or vinaigrette).

Cold couscous salad~cooked cold couscous, apple chunks, raisins, chicken, broccoli bits. cheddar chunks, tomato, cucumber, mayo dressing.

Thermos lunches
-cut hotdog + baked beans
-baked beans + rice
-mini meatballs in sauce or gravy
-chili with cubed baked potato or rice
-loaded baked potato (cubed baked potato with grated cheese, salsa, sour cream and bacon bits)
