Do you take the soaps and shampoos that the hotels put out?

Sometimes...

Dh travels so much for work, and would take one or two home from his week long stay...and we have a TON. I haven't bought bar soap for the kids/dh in over 10 years!

The shampoo/lotion...not so much. Just depends on what it is. Typically it's not stuff we would ever use, or the lids are not air travel friendly, so we leave it. I do sometime like the small sewing kits, emery boards, shoe shine stuff. Great for traveling.

Same here - hubby travels for work. I voted "sometimes" because we have so much soap/shampoo/conditioner/hand lotion now that I'd really picky about what we (or he) brings home. What I don't want to use we donate to the woman's crisis center.

No. I never use the hotel stuff and I would just end up throwing it out anyway.

I answered "always." My mom's church collects them to give to women's shelters or homeless shelters.

Sometimes, depending on what it is. The last hotel I stayed at had B&BW's stuff, so you know I took them. I had brought toiletries with me, so we used what I brought and next time I go away, I won't have to buy any.

Yes...forgot about that, we do that too. They really like those small hotel sizes.

We use to travel so much on weekends, that I keep a small overnight "bathroom" bag, packed with shampoo, razors, toothpaste, toothbrush, mouthwash, deo, aspirins, band-aids and other non perishable stuff. All I have to do is grab our prescription pills and off we go.

I chose never. My hair is sooooooo thick and curly that one of those little bottles (especially the conditioner) would never do the trick.

I always do. I give them to people that don't have.
