Does anyone sell Mary Kay? - Page 2

I just started in July and I love it! I started with a little inventory but then lost my full time job so I have slowly been selling it off and just ordering as I go. My customers are fine with it.

Also you don't have to have all the special bags and everything. I make do with just my starter kit... which is still only $100. It contains over $400 in products and supplies!

I like the business more and more everyday! However, like all other businesses it takes work... it isn't just a get rich quick type of thing that many people are looking for. Those don't really exist.

Hope this helps!

Yes Mary Kay is amazing. I love this company with all my heart. Making 50% profit is only the start. How I personally have grown as a person and as a leader is truly amazing to me. I was VERY shy and use to get anxiety in talking to people, but now when it comes to MK I have all the confidence needed because I know who I am. The company provides EVERY tool that you would need to be the best consultant possible. Of course YOU have to get out and work the business, they cant get out and work it for you, but they make it easy.....

Thanks,

hope to hear from you soon.

We've prepared tax returns for numerous Mary Kay reps through the years.  The women who do well have recruited other women into the sales force and they get a percentage of their recruits' sales.  Truthfully, only a few women have done well with it.  The make-up does go bad after a certain period of time, so it's not like if you were selling jewelry it would have an indefinite shelf life.  I really don't think there's much demand for their products, you really have to sell it.
