I was wondering if anyone has ever froze potato soup? We make it often, but wasn't sure about freezing it.

Thanks!!!

I do it from time to time. It tastes fine but I don't care for the texture afterward.

Yeah I try to stay away from freezing creamy soups...the milk doesn't freeze well IMO.

me 3, it is one of those things that don't look all too well after the freeze and the potatoes get mush....

I always freeze half the recipe when i make creamy potato soup (it uses milk as well as cream of chicken soup). I actually prefer the potatoes falling apart so I think it's even better the next time! just be sure to not boil it when rewarming, becuase of the milk.
