Well, my husband and I have a goal of paying off at least 10,000 is debt this year.I would love to say we could do the entire 14,000, but I am stickin' with 10. Would this be a good place to try to achieve this? If yes, then I am in.

I'm Nikki, and I need to pay some debt down as well as get out of the paycheck to paycheck cycle. I've been reading on here for awhile and thought it was time to start participating.

I'm Rachel, I am a big Dave Ramsey fan and I have been on his "plan" for a year. My hubby and I have done a good job paying off debt especially since he hasn't been working and we've lived off of my teacher salary. I want to pay off my Chase card this year. I have $9,450 left on this card. We owe his mom and my mom some money as well. I would like to be debt free (except the house) at the end of this year.

Hi, I'm Adrienne. I'm new to the forum. I'm participating in the 'Forget the Joneses 2010' to pay down my student loans, save for a 6-month emergency fund, and also save just in general and stop the paycheck-to-paycheck cycle.

Hi, My name is Alison. I loved participating in the holiday FTJ, so I am in & my hubby says he is in, too!! We are like a lot of others, working to pay down debt. We also have to save for a new hot water heater and fridge this year and we are planning to possibly have another child as well in the next year or two.

Hi everyone!!

I will be participating in the FTJ this year!! During the actual FTJ 3 week program I want to figure out a realistic budget, one that can be stuck to, I still do not have that down yet, I feel like every month something comes up, the budget changes!

I also want to get back into menu planning...thinking of things week after week gets annoying to me so I need to jump back in! I hope we are doing a freeze again this year!! I participated last year and I think the year before that and hubby even knows, after Jan 1 we are not spending right

I should have looked at the description to SEE that we are doing a Spending freeze my favorite part!!
