Is your spouse participating in the spending freeze? - Page 2

My DH is! This will be good for the both of us. He spent money today but no more after that :-P

My DH is the saver anyway so shouldn't be any issues there.

DH is onboard for now, I am sure he will come up with something. Hopefully the net worth shook him up as much as me!

Yes he is participating this time around and has done really well so far. He is tempted to go out for breakfast with the other guys after they leave work so we will see how it goes.

yes, but we are behind. We just discussed the spending freeze. We will be doing two weeks, as we leave for our trip on the 15th.

Yes, my Hubby is, even though he did talk me into spending $2.50 for a screwdriver today LOL. He will have a cash allowance for while he is on the road and not a credit card so that will help.

My dh is the saver in our house too - we have a budget (thanks to him) - that allows us each our own fun money, and once he has spent his - he doesn't spend another dime until the next allowance comes. So I have nothing to worry about with him - it's me that can't quite hit the grocery budget, or I buy this or that for the kids, or whatever, that gets me in trouble.

Yes, DH said he would do it, as long as he still got his spending $ for the week; we plan to not pull any extra $ out of our checking acct (except approved stuff)
