How long to do you leave your Wreath up?

DS made me a pine branch Wreath to hang on our front door. How long do you leave it up?? I'm only asking because Dd told me today that i should take it down. I guess i felt that Wreaths are not necessarily just a Christmas decoration but more of a winter decoration.
What do you think?

I always make ours and I leave it up al winter as well. Something has to cheer us up with all this grey!

This is just me...I like to clear everything 'Christmas like' out ASAP after Christmas. I would do it on the 26th if dh would let me But I have to settle for New Year's Eve. I took our wreath down New Years Eve, but it obviously looked very Christmassy.

If it just looked like a nice winter wreath, I'd keep it up until spring!

Pagans tend to leave Yule decorations up through the 12th day - which is today. Christians adopted this date as their celebration of the Epiphany, and a lot of Christians take down their Christmas decorations today as well.
I don't have a set time frame for taking down seasonal decorations - as long as they're down by the time the next holiday rolls around, I'm fine. I plan to have all my Yule stuff packed up and put away by Mardi Gras.

We take all of our decorations down around Jan. 1. This year, however, we left the wreath up. I'm really not sure why. But, I often have a wreath on my door. It is likely that I will take down the Christmas wreath and replace it with a general winter wreath.

I never take anything down before Epiphany. My goal is to have everything down by my sister's birthday, which is 1/19. I don't always make that.

Wreaths - if it's just a winter wreath, can stay up thru February or so.

I take all our Christmas stuff down on the 26th - I am just over it all by then - but I leave the wreath and the white lights on the topiaries by my front door up until New Years Day. I always hate to take them down because they are so pretty.

We have several neighbors that have topiaries by their front door, with the white lights. They leave them up all year long.

Our wreath is definitely a Christmas wreath - it usually has holiday adornments like red ribbon and holly berries, so we take it down with the rest of the Christmas decorations. They don't come down until the 6th at the earliest, but usually the weekend following January 6th.

Many of my neighbors have plain greenery wreaths that they leave up through the end of winter - most have white or gold ribbons if anything on them. I think they look nice on the door and it has never occurred to me that they shouldn't be up that long.
