We discovered Duck Dynasty last fall and bought Season One to catch up. As with any good TV show, there are distinct characters that make it funny. In this case, it's the Robertson family - who...
This is the best, simple rattle for babies. The two bars make it easy to grasp, and it makes the perfect rattle sound when baby shakes it. Not so noisy that it's annoying or disruptive, but...
I LOVE cooking with canned fire-roasted tomatoes! They add a little something extra to every dish whether it be chili or spaghetti sauce. Before finding the Hunt's, I had to pay twice the price...
I tried it because there was a good deal at my local grocery store. My kids honestly aren't much of juice drinkers, but I am. I thought this would be a good beverage to try on my picky eaters. ...
I LOVE this product!!! I tried it for the first time because I LOVE iced tea but not the caffeine. I like juice but it's way too strong and sweet of a flavor to quench my thirst. This herbal...
Uncrustables... I bought a sealer from Pampered Chef and just make my own. And I never buy frozen french fries or instant potatoes.. once youve mastered homemade, you can never go back
I like the new flavored BC instant potatoes (Garlic & Cheddar are my fav) and use them often.
I prefer Stouffers Lasagna to homemade.
Nestle filled cookie dough ready to bake (49 cents after sale & Q) can't be beat.
Nabisco Chips Ahoy Softbaked ($1.50 for 3 dz after sale & Q) warmed in the microwave good as freshbaked anyday.
Digiorno Pizza for $3 - $4 saves me many a night in the kitchen
What I would not buy: Pot-pies (due to pea allergies) and hotpockets. Bought a machine for $5 at a yard sale that allows me to make mini pies at home with my own ingredients, great for using up left overs or fruit filling.
I broke down and bought the Uncrustables for DS. Commissary had them on sale for $1.69 w/ $1 off Q = .69 / 4 = 17 cents a sandwich. Not something I would buy on a regular basis though.
I wanted to be just like you, when I grow up, till you wrote this
I would have to say boxed mac & cheese. Homemade is sooo much better.
Sorry to shatter your illusions, Ruthie - to me, those cake-y things just taste vile. If I want something sweet and cake-y, I'll make my grandmother's brownies.
I never buy the Uncrustables. Yuk! However, I do buy a lot of other convenience items, b/c sometimes it is just easier! I do look for sale items, though!
Why is everyone on the Uncrustables when I just bought them for the 1st time today for myself??? Today I had printed some Uncrustable's coupons because DS LOVES them. He eats them at church, school, & at friends. I have always said I am NOT going to pay that for that when I can make it myself a lot cheeper! So I was going to see. They were only $2 at wal-mart & with my $1 off I just paid a buck a box. Now if you do the math & add what its worth & your time. Some times what its worth to just feed the kids quickly & not hear them fuss. (I know you all have been at this point at some time) & you now have 5 more mins to clean something else up. They start to not sound to bad .......
