Emeril's....apparently....very distantly...I am related to him in my family tree!!

Totally Emeril's.

DH would totally say, "Rachel Ray." Hmmm, I was wrong. I just asked him and he said, "Gordon Ramsay." Evidently there is still a little mystery in our marriage. He did say that Rachel Ray would be his second choice though.

My grandmothers...she had the best kitchen and she was the best cook. It was very tiny, and she always said that if you wanted to cook you could cook anywhere. It is so true...I know lots of people with massive kitchens that don't cook at all, and here she was in this teeny tiny kitchen and she cooked every meal from scratch every day.

You're making me blush.

As far as tv chefs go, I'd love to spend a day in the kitchen with Alton Brown.

As far as MommySavers go, I have to agree with the person who said M2M or Ruthie.

I spent many a happy hour in the kitchen with my grandmother, which is where I learned to cook.

Any woman who survived the great depression. They knew how to make something out of nothing!
