Sleeveless clothes in the winter

I never wore sleeveless clothes in the winter, even with a jacket over them, untill menopause hit.

Now it seems like that is all I buy. That way I can wear them just about all year long.

And I notice that a lot of picutres of Michelle Obama taken during the winter months, she had on sleveless dresses.

Do you wear sleveless clothes in the winter?

Yes. I work, and I have a lot of blazers/jackets - and the most comfortable thing underneath them for me are sleeveless tops. I hate the feeling of sleeves under a jacket - they get all bunched up, the jacket feels tight, etc. So I have a lot of sleeveless tops, sleeveless turtlenecks, sweaters, etc. - then I can wear a layer over them easily.

I have a handful of winter "church" dresses that are sleeveless that I love. My favorites are two Kay Unger wool ones that have wraps that go with them that are very pretty (last call at Neiman Marcus for 75% off - gotta love it). I get a lot of compliments when I wear them. My shoulders are one of my best features so if it is warm enough I'm gonna show them off!

I wear my sleeveless dresses with a sweater or shrug over top. I also like wearing sleeveless blouses to church with a jacket, it is usually so darn hot in there!

Same here. Plus, some of them I can wear year-round.

I am so paranoid about the shape of my upper arms that I haven't worn anything sleeveless since I was 9 years old! I am 46!

i thought i was the odd one out. i can't stand long sleeves under a jacket unless i'm outside in the winter. i prefer to wear tanks or short sleeves under my jacket because i get hot easily. i found a neat shirt that has netting for the sleeves instead, so i can wear it to work and still stay cool.

I always layer things. I get hot and cold very easily...especially now that I'm 9 months pregnant. So I layer long sleeve tees with short sleeve tees and jackets and such so I can take layers off and put them back on if I need to. At this point, I will do whatever I have to just to be comfortable!
