How do you display school pictures?

Is there a spot in your house where you hang them all to see? Do you switch them out each year?

We have picture frames sitting on an oak cabinet that we switch out with new school pictures each fall in our living room.

Yep, they are all hanging above the couch. Every year we put the new one in. Except my oldest's whose senior pic stays there and my 2nd whose last picture (1st grade) will forever stay there.

Sadly, no. But I would like to display them. I need to go to Ikea and get a three-opening frame. One of those things I only think of when we get the school pictures - and then I put them away and out of sight, out of mind.

I buy a deep picture frame, one that has enough room between the glass and the backing. Every year the newest photo is displayed and all the previous photos from years before are stored right there inside the frame behind the new one. I take them out each year and lined them up on the table to glance at how much they have changed from Kindergarten and up.
This not only saves me space on the wall, but in case of a fire or other emergency i can just grab that one frame off the wall and still have years worth the photos!! My MIL ( who was running out of room to display all her 8x10 school pics of all her grandchildren )is now doing this herself and thinks it's the greatest idea ever!

I hang them in frames. I don't swap them out, I buy the triple frames and have been adding frames.

Since my oldest gets a spring & fall picture, I chose the best one and keep it up.

I have them hanging one kid on each side of my computer desk on the wall and each year I put in their new one.

I don't display them at all. No interest on my part to be honest, they're usually pretty bad!

Yes, we have a huge wall in our basement family room that is covered with picture frames. Hubby and I are in the middle - our engagement photo - and all my old family photos are on one side and hubby's are on the other. The children's old photos surround us along with friends and extended family. When we adopted DD it was a really big deal for her pictures to be up on that wall. I do the same - keep adding her current to the 8x10 frame and store her old ones in the back.

I also have a large manila envelop for each child where I put duplicate pictures. When they get old enough (settled down, start raising a family of their own) I give them the envelop.
