Alternate use for: Coffee Creamer

Is there an item that you stock pile but sometimes you just need a 'new' use for it?? Like Coffee creamer.... Is there another way you can use Coffee Creamer, not only for coffee anymore!

Lets start a list of alternate uses for commonly stockpiled items. Today lets discuss COFFEE CREAMER.

I just read in a blog that you can use your coffee creamer instead of WATER in common baking box mixes. I bet that adds a totally different flavor to your goodies!

What else ya got?

I use vanilla creamer in my french toast!

I also use regular falvor creamer in my mashed potatoes and scrambled eggs!

I use half and half in my coffee - will not touch those weird coffee creamers. They just seem to be a mix of oils, flavoring and chemicals. Ick! My inlaws are addicted to all those flavored ones. I can't even pronounce half the stuff on the ingredient list. Half and half is milk and cream. Can't go wrong there...

DH made homemade ice cream this past weekend and added a little flavored coffee creamer for a twist. It was a huge hit!

I can't stand them either. I use either whole milk or half and half in my coffee. If I want vanilla flavored coffee, I add vanilla extract. If I want amaretto flavor, I add a shot of amaretto or a few drops of almond extract. If I want mocha, I add a spoonful of cocoa (real cocoa, not Swiss Miss mix) and a shot of Kahlua.

I use the powered stuff to make up hot cocoa mix instead of using the watery store kind. (hubby 'cooks real' stuff)

My mom use to make her own Coca Mix and it took Dry Coffee Creamer in the recipe. I will have to look it up and post it if anyone would be interested.

Use the liquid ones to thin down ice cream when making milk shakes, home made blizzards, or add to smoothies. I use both liquid & powder for malts and hot cocoa.

I had never thought of the French toast or egg ones tho, thats sounds great.
