Strollers?

So my DS is large enough to fit in pretty much any stroller I choose. So I am ready to move on from our Graco. I have hard time manuevering it in stores and am looking for a more compact stroller.

Any suggestions? It doesn't have to be an umbrella stroller, per se, but just something smaller that is easier to get around stores.

If you are really just looking for something to use when shopping, I would get an inexpensive umbrella. I have one that I got at Toys R Us for little money, maybe $20. I works perfectly in stores.

I have a jogging stroller I use when I need something "more".

Thanks! I'll go there again this weekend... Any brands that you particularly liked?

We're getting a Jeep as soon as it is in stock for the Zoo, walking around the neighborhood and trips to the park.

I would get an upgraded umbrella stroller - at least get the basket underneath or on the back, and the sun shade. I think Cosco makes one.

I'll check the brand and post it in the morning. Ours does have a little basket-type carrier on the back and a sun visor. I agree with swishina, it is nice to have the carrier, at least.

Definitely go with one with a basket and sun shade. Mine doesn't have those and I didn't use it nearly as much because of that.

I use a cheap umbrella stroller that I got for free at Toysrus (with another purchase) the most, and I have some nice strollers, lol. It has a small canopy and hanging mesh pocket in the back. I would look for a lightweight umbrella stroller with a basket and sun shade.

I actually just went outside and took a pic so that I could post it for you, but now I can't find my camera bag with the tether to upload the pic.

Anywhoooo, it is an Especially for Kids. In our store, they are on the end caps of the car seat aisle.

Here is a pic from the TRU site. There is a small (3 lb.) mesh bag/basket on the back. Online, they range from $20-$30, but I remember seeing an ad for a sale like the one Stacia took advantage of. You can find them giving them away w/purchase, on occasion.

ETA: I just found this great coupon that Ruthie posted, http://mommysavers.com/boards/printa...m-toysrus.html. Print this out before you head to TRU if you are going today or tomorrow.

ETA (again): I found my camera bag, here is what the bag on the back looks like.

I use a Keekaroo Stroller and love it. It is a nicer umbrella stroller and it perfect for people who don't like to be hunched over. It is made to hold a child longer( a 55 lb limit). This thing steers beautifully. Plus it came with harness strap extenders.

Fantastic!

Thank you everyone so much!

We are going to BRU tomorrow (And girlfriend, you know I have me some coupons already ) and try out a few with the baby. DH wants an input . Sometimes I wish he would go TDY so I could just do what I want.

DH Just saw the photo, Addimom, and said, "Man! Those women are thorough. Do they want to join the Army? We need some good Soldiers." We've only been in Recruiting for 8 months, but I think it's gotten to him.
