3-4 firm apples, cored
sugar to taste
1/2 cup vegetable oil
cut the apples into 1/2 inch slices and sprinkle both sides with sugar. Heat the oil in a skillet. Add the apples a few at a time and turn them until tender and brown.
Sprinkle with xxx sugar before serving if desired. Or you can serve with whipped cream and pecans.
