I think it would be fine for a 6th grader to read.

Finished Between Friends by Kristy Kiernan last night. She writes in a style similar to Jodi Picoult. She has great characters that deal with real problems, and there is a twist at the end....keep kleenex near by.

I started Accomplice by Eireann Corrgian. It's a YA book about two high school friends that decide to plan and carry out a supposed disappearance of one of them for the media attention only it goes wrong. (don't know how though )

I just started another Susan Elizabeth Phillips book (can't remember the name...will come back and post). She is just too funny to me.

Finished Ape House and Last Lecture, both were good but neither were great, I think they were both overrated! Ape House is nowhere near the book that Waster For Elephants is and Last Lecture felt like a everything I learned in Kindergarten list but of course it was sad and touching due to the terminal illness (I am not heartless...just love a great book) and Last LEcture was a very quick read, read it during the football game today, Ape House took a little longer and it had way too many subplots. Ugh...anyway now reading Sizzling Sixteen by Janet Evanovich

I am reading now the book "Night Road" by Kristin Hannah and so far it is really good. Very easy to read and follow along.

I also read The Corrections and wasn't that impressed with it. I did finish it, but it will never be on my "Books I've Loved Reading" list. I don't plan on reading his latest one.

I just finished Escape by Carolyn Jessop and would definitely recommend it. At present I am reading Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz and so far yes I like it.
