I just finished The Christmas Shoes by Donna VanLiere. It was an AWESOME [teary-eyed] book! There are two more in the series...plan on getting those next week.

Yesterday, I started reading Love Stories from World War II by Larry King. Its a book full of true stories from soldiers and their "lovers" that ended up being their wives or those that never made it home to the ones they were going to marry. I was inspired to read this because my grandmother and my grandfather exchanged letters while he was in the Army fighting in WWII and when he came back they were married. They never ever knew each other except through letters (he ended up not being such a great person all the time but they had 6 kids!) lol

I finished "Night Road" a couple of days ago. It was a wonderful book..brings out a lot of emotions. If you like Kristin Hannah, you will love this book. The book will be out next year in March.
