Hi - Considering being SAHM

Thread Starter
Hi everyone, I'm a full time working mom to a 11 month old baby girl. Ever since I was on maternity leave, I've been thinking about how I could stay home with my little girl. I've kept it myself but last night I finally told DH. Once he recovered from his heart attack we had some good discussions about how we could accomplish it.

It's pretty scary but I think it's the best thing for DD so we need to find a way to make it happen.

I'm looking forward to reading all of your advice and it's nice to meet everyone.

Hi and welcome.

I reccommend you puttting your whole pay check into savings and see if you can make it work. It is easy to try and do on paper though if the $ is not easy to get you really see if you can afford to do it. Good luck.

Welcome to Mommysavers! You'll find lots of information and good tips here (starting with the one BlueJay mentions above - something I recommend doing as well).
