Gifts from "Santa".....gifts from "Mom & Dad"

Hi,

Now will be the time when I start hearing "I'm gonna ask Santa for this..."
Sometimes the letters to Santa can have many items listed.
How many gifts from "Santa" do you give your children ? Are most of them from "Santa" or "Mom & Dad" ?

Thanks

We've only had to do this one year, because our kids are very young, but we did one gift from santa (last year it was a stuffed animal) and the stockings. Everything else was from us.

We do three gifts from Santa usually two smaller and one larger/more expensive item. We do three b/c Baby Jesus received three gifts. We also do 3-4 smaller items from Mom and Dad, such as new Pj's, activity books, small game, etc.

Santa brings one gift for each child and he fills their stockings. Everything else is from us.

I never had gifts from Santa and never believed in him. My parents didn't want to lie to us about it because they were afraid when we found out we would think they lied to us about Jesus and other things. We plan on doing the same thing for our kids. No Santa.

Mom & Dad have always given one gift and Santa gives the rest.

Same here. As they got older, we started giving a few more from us because they were starting to catch on to Santa. The time they believe goes so fast!

3 from Santa plus stockings and the rest from Mom & Dad, but DD knows the truth now and I'm pretty sure DS is onto it too, I am hoping he just lets me have one more year

We usually do 1 big one from Santa and 3 from us (since that's what Jesus got). From us, 1 gift is always PJs and some books wrapped together. Then the other 2 are toys. Santa does fill the stockings too!

Ours is 3 now, so he's excited about Santa. In our house, Santa leaves the bigger gift and stockings, and then we leave the others.
