Ever wash a shirt with a sticker on it? Try this!

Ugh my husband did this to me! He left his "I voted' sticker on his shirt and of course its MY fault because I didn't take it off and the sticker got washed and dried.

SO I did a search on how to get the sticker residue off. They all suggested that Goo Gone stuff, but I really had nothing in the house to get that sticker off. Then I read a suggestion to use and ice cube to freeze the sticker residue and scrape it off. I went one further, the spot where I tried to take it off with a magic eraser was still a bit damp, so I just stuck it in the freezer with an ice pack on top of it, for about 15 minutes. Then I took a butter knife and scraped the stuff right off! It worked! The shirt is clean, no residue left at all! It only took about 3 minutes of scraping too, no problem at all!

I'll have to remember that one - I have been known to wash shirts with name tags stuck on them.

Thanks! Last time I did that, I spent half an hour scraping it off with my fingernails.
