What is the most cluttered area in your home?

Probably the garage and unfinished part of the basement. They tend to get disorganized quickly. We do a 'clean out' of the garage, probably 2 or 3 times a year...take everything out, powerwash the floors, organize everything etc. So we're on top of it, but it does get cluttery again quickly. The basement...we do a clean out about once a year, but again, it's just one of those places where somehow, even though we have storage solutions, stuff just doesn't get put away as quickly as other areas of the house.

Without a doubt ...my basement....its known as the dumping ground...we really need to focus on letting go of things there. I cringe to think about it.

We have been doing an incredible job of decluttering this month. Hubby has been gone on a business trip for the last three weeks which I think has helped A LOT.

Of my stuff, I need to do my craft room and the laundry room. Together those will take one day to square away. I also need to go through one bathroom, DD's bedroom, the TV room / den and bathroom and the kitchen but those are already partially done so they won't take long at all.

The worst is hubby's office in the basement. If he doesn't come home soon, he is going to find that space decluttered without him - and he will NOT like the results.

I am trying to get the house stripped bare so I can take pictures to list the house on the market.

For us its the living room since that is where ds's bulk of toys are. I need to get a bin for them all. My office has a corner of clutter for garage sales that I want to move out but the overall award goes to dh's office. He can't have ds in there because of all the junk on the floor and cords all over which would all be in ds's mouth.

Our desks - both his and mine arwe covered in piles of papers. But we each know what papers are in which piles on our own desks. The next itme I have a whole day off with no obligations, I'm going to go through all of mine and file, recycle, or shred as needed.

The play room. It has about 90% of the kids' toys, homeschool stuff, our computer, a desk, and a file cabinet.

Definitely our garage. There is just so much "Stuff" and we clean it out ever few months. But lately it just seems like we are reorganizing it and not throwing anything away. Springtime is going to be a harsh reality. I want it CLEANED OUT!
