that is how I have felt when working in my garden. It is just a handful compared to what my dad had to work with, but being out there working in the dirt, brings back wonderful memories of my dad.

my father was originally in construction, but once they got married and immediately had children he wanted something more stable so he went into law enforcement and retired as a Lieutenant. My mom was only just out of high school when they got married and she had a cosmetology license, but she ended up staying home until my youngest sister was in elementary school. Then she went into retail and worked up to an manager of a clothing store. I did not follow in either of their paths, however, my dh loves to tease me and say "the detective's daughter" whenever I figure out the end of a movie, book, or something someone's done and won't fess up to. LOL

My dad always worked in purchasing. He worked at a large ship building corporation and then for a Space Shuttle contractor.

My mom was a SAHM until I was 15 and my dad made her go back to work. She worked for a while in an office doing data entry.

I'm a SAHM now, so I guess I followed in my mom's footsteps.

My Dad was a Police Sergeant and Mom did something with date entry. Mom said she would have loved to have been able to stay home when we were little so I'm lucky in that I get to do what she wished she could have.

My Dad was a trucker and my mom was a SAHM. My husband is a trucker and I am a SAHM. We have definitely followed in the same footsteps. Although, our money isn't going as far for us as it did for them back when I was growing up.

He was in the Army for 25 years, my Mom worked in business management. I work in law enforcement full time!
