Cleaning your stove top

I am forever buying products to clean the glass stove top. But they can get very pricey...this morning I stumbled onto a Mommysavers tip in the blog- no idea how I missed it, but sure as anything- I will be using it from now on!

Homemade Glass Stove Top Surface Cleaner | Mommysavers.com

How do you keep your stove top clean?

I spray mine with straight white vinegar and wipe it with a dish rag. If something is stuck on, I sprinkle baking soda on it, then spray vinegar, let it bubble, and wipe up with a dish rag.

Thanks for the information! My cleanser is just about gone and I'm going to try this instead of buying a new bottle.

I tried this last night...LOVED it. So simple and I already had everything on hand...no more stovetop cleaner to buy!

I use vinegar, lysol, or glass cleaner. I go over the top with a razor blade if it doesn't feel super squeaky smooth.

I use Dawn and a soft sponge to take off all the crusties, then I use vinegar to make it shine

Try it! Let us know how it works. I tend to get those "rings" around the burners when I boil something over (happens a lot) and this takes care of them..just need a little elbow grease!

I just sprinkle baking soda on it and wipe it with a wet sponge. I wipe down the stove with a dish cloth afterward.
