Not sure if I am doing this right with the link? What do yall think of this book? It doesn't really bother me. The thing that did bother me was hearing one of my cousins telling her sister that she was getting "as fat as Amy is" when we were preteens. However, as a child, I didn't know anyone on a diet. In our family, if you looked 'filled out' or 'had a little meat on your bones' you looked healthy. Being too thin was a sign of illness. My mother was often very thin when ill, and a little fuller when healthy. I think this book would be good if the doctor said you're child was overweight and needed to diet, then you could this book for them.

Imo the word diet seems awfully harsh for anyone. Many nutritionists say you shouldn't "diet" per say but have a healthy well balanced set of meals. I think a book like that would be better called to be a "maggie eats healthy" or something idk.
