Chuckie Cheese and Places Like That

Do you take your toddler/preschool to places like Chuckie Cheese or BounceHouses?

We have a groupon to our local bounce house which I have not used. We took Ds to Chuckie Cheese for the first time about a month ago. My nerves were so frazzled by the time we left I could not imagine taking a large group of kids there.

I took my kids there 1-2 times a year. We went mid-week during the day. It is not as crazy when the school age kids are at school.

We took our 1 and 3 year old to both chuck e cheese and a bouncy place while I was pregnant. Chuck e cheese went well but our kids kept getting into things at the bouncy place or wasn't old enough for all of it. I was worn out by the end of it...but they had fun!

We haven't been to Chuck E Cheese, don't plan on going until we are invited to a bday there.
We have gone to a local Party Playhouse when ds was younger, now waiting for dd to get big enough to handle it (it's a climbing one and easy to get stuck and need to rescued by Mom). I take dd to an open play Kindergym every Fri when ds is in school, it has toys, balls, trikes, hula hoops, parachutes, tumbling mats and a bounce house.

We love Chuck E Cheese, but the key is to only go there during the week. (Even week nights are a million times better than the weekend). I think I pretty much refuse to go there on the weekend. I've been to two parties there, and that was enough!!

All of the other bouncy type places are so much better. I don't mind those.

But yeah, I do get that horrified look like, "You take your kids to Chuck E Cheese?" Yeah, for dinner sometimes. NO ONE is there!

Once in a while, but we go when they first open, because that place gets so noisy and crowded!

Here in India, I take them to an indoor soft play place at least once a week, since our playground sucks.

I want to take the kids to Chuck E Cheese sometime. For DD#1's birthday, she turned 3, we took her to a place called Space Aliens, it is a restaurant that has a small play area like Chuck E Cheese, the food is so much better there too. DD #1 had a blast there and DD #2 (1) even liked looking at the lights.
