Does anyone here blog for extra $$ ?

How much time do you put into your blog? What is the least/most you have gotten out of it? I currently do in-home childcare but the kids I am dealing with are outta control & I need other options.

I don't blog for money, but I am an experienced blogger. I can tell you that the amount of effort and time put into getting a blog set up and making real money is likely not worth it. It is a LOT of work, and you won't see any payout for months.

Do you have writing experience? If you're looking for a writing job, you might consider Yahoo Contributor Network. They pay you to write articles.

Is the problem all of the kids you have, or just some of them? Maybe you could cut back on the number of kids, and cut down some expenses.

I don't have a blog but I do answer surveys from several reputable websites and I have done some mystery shopping with reputable companies.  Between couponing, bargin huntingsurveys, mypoints, and the Neilsen home scaning I have saved a total of $1,747.95 (this does not include upromise dollars). This year.  Last year I saved $3,959.29 only because I found free office furniture on freecycle.org.  It would have cost us $2,500 to buy used office furniture.

I started my excel file because DH thought that I wasn't saving all that much.  I have another file that tracks electrical and oil savings which are not included in the above mentioned savings.

I have not heard of freecycle, checking it out now!  Thanks for sharing.
